Overview
About this Instagram Downloader
Nestvedia’s Instagram Downloader is built for people who want a clean copy of Instagram video content without installing an app or creating an account. Paste a public Instagram link, preview the media, then save the file to your phone or computer in a few taps. The tool focuses on public URLs only, so you stay in control of what you save for offline viewing, editing drafts, or personal archives.
Supported
What you can download
Reels
Reels are Instagram’s short-form vertical videos. Open a Reel, copy its link, and Nestvedia fetches the playable file so you can keep the original pacing and audio without Instagram’s in-app save limits.
Video posts
Classic feed posts that include a single video work the same way. Use the post URL from the share sheet or browser address bar; Nestvedia returns the video track ready to download.
Carousels with video
Mixed carousels sometimes include one or more video slides. When Instagram exposes a video URL for the post you pasted, you can download that clip separately from still images.
Public Stories
If a Story is public and the link is still valid, you can attempt a download before the Story expires. Private or login-gated Stories are not supported.

Help
Common issues & troubleshooting
Private accounts
Content from private profiles cannot be fetched. Ask the creator for a public link or use only public posts.
Expired Story links
Instagram Stories disappear after about 24 hours. If the link is stale, open a fresh Story and copy the link again.
Login or rate-limit errors
Instagram sometimes blocks automated requests. Wait a few minutes and try a different public Reel or post.
Wrong link format
Use a full https://www.instagram.com/... URL. Truncated or in-app deep links without a post ID usually fail.
Region or age-gated posts
Some posts are restricted by location or age settings. If Instagram will not show the video publicly, Nestvedia cannot retrieve it either.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Nestvedia saves the video file as delivered from the public source and does not stamp Nestvedia branding onto the clip.
You still need permission from the creator if you plan to republish or use the file commercially.
Yes. Copy the Reel or post link from the Instagram iOS app, paste it here in Safari or Chrome, then save the file to Photos or Files.
Use Share → Copy Link inside Instagram, then switch back to Nestvedia in your browser.
Only public Stories with a still-valid link can be attempted. Private Stories and expired links will not download.
Copy the Story link quickly; Stories typically expire within 24 hours.
Nestvedia targets the video media exposed by the URL you pasted. Photo-only slides are not returned as video files.
If multiple video slides exist, paste the specific post URL again after confirming Instagram shows the clip publicly.
No. Nestvedia does not ask for your Instagram password and does not require a Nestvedia account.
Paste public links only; never share account credentials with any downloader site.
Downloading for personal offline use is a common use case, but copyright still belongs to the creator.
Do not redistribute or monetize someone else’s Instagram content without permission.
Public links to Reels, posts (/p/), and reel paths (/reel/) work best when they open without logging in.
If the page asks you to log in before viewing, the download will usually fail.
Save Video must load the file through Nestvedia’s site URL, not a localhost address. Refresh the page and try Save again after the progress bar reaches ready.
If the problem continues, check that you are on nestvedia.com over HTTPS and retry with a new public link.
